Hi, my name is Carlos Andres Barrios. I’m a Process Engineer at Carolina Filters, Inc here in Sumter, SC. We clean metallic filtration and associated process equipment. I’ve been working at Carolina Filters for 3 months and I love it! My birthday is April 11th and my favorite childhood cartoon was Batman.

The best thing about my job is the fact that I have to use imagination and creativity to develop tools to make the process easier and safer for my co-workers. You should “TOON” in to a career in manufacturing because it is rewarding and it provides a unique and detailed perspective towards optimization and standardization of a production line.
