For the 2nd year in a row, Sumter Economic Development and The Sumter Smarter Growth Initiative have rallied to support the E3 Conference held during the summer for teachers and administrators of the Sumter School District. The purpose of the conference is to motivate attendees, which is evident in the event tagline--Educate your mind, Empower your learning, Enrich your Future. Debbie Hamm, Interim Superintendent for the Sumter School District attended the montly board meeting of Sumter Economic Development to accept a check in support of the upcoming conference slated for June.
